I know what it's like to make sacrifices for what is truly important. My dad was unemployed for three years of my high school career and I had to make some tough decisions.  Besides food and shelter, education is the last thing that should be sacrificed when money is tight. Without education, our world suffers because the potential of the human race decreases when knowledge isn't spread.  College, to me, is not just going to class or partying or earning a degree. College is a big step in life for anyone to take. It's a step away from the comfort of home and a step into reality.  Access Missouri helps make college a reality for me and students like me.
